French Immersion in comfort in the heart of Quebec City during the Quebec Summer Festival!

A residential program in a private college situated in the historic setting of Les Plaines d'Abraham gives participants the opportunity to walk to la vieille ville while enjoying the magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River from a park setting. This program is specifically designed for FSL and French Immersion teachers but non-teachers are also welcome.

The Explore (Summer Language Bursary) Programs are English or French five-week immersion programs offered to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who were full-time students for at least one semester in the academic year prior to the start of the program.

These five-week programs are offered in Spring and Summer. These unique programs offer international students a chance to learn about Canada while studying English (or French) alongside French- or English-speaking Canadians. They offer Canadians the opportunity to study and speak English with students from around the world.

This program will provide a chance for teachers and administrators to devote time to studying French while enjoying the summer in Vancouver and at UBC. All levels of language competency are offered with a stimulating variety of activities that are challenging for all.
